Applications for Council’s 2026/27 annual grants program open on Monday 23 February. Full details and program guidelines will be available soon. Funding is available for not-for-profit organisations, community groups, artists and creative professionals, to deliver programs, activities or events that make a positive contribution to the Maroondah community.

Council has a variety of grants and funding opportunities available to community organisations and those in need that help make Maroondah a heathier, connected, resilient and more inclusive community.

Arts and Cultural Grants Program

Supports a diverse and culturally rich Maroondah through community-driven projects, initiatives and events that increase arts profile and participation. The next round of applications will open in February 2026.

Community Grants Program

The Community Grants Program offers annual grants to not-for-profit community groups on an annual basis.

Community Assistance Fund

The fund assists community groups with urgent or unforeseen costs and assists individuals to meet costs associated with participation in community activities.

Capital Funding for Community Groups

Council's capital works for community groups aim to better assist organisations with Capital Projects. The funding scheme supports projects over $7,700 and projects up to $7,700.
