Maroondah Education and Care
New vacancies are now available for children over 3 years of age.
Maroondah Education and Care is Council’s long day care centre in Croydon. The service provides high quality child care for children from 6 weeks of age (following their first immunisation) up to 6 years old.
The mixed-age child care setting helps young children learn new skills from older peers, while older children build confidence and leadership. Children enjoy a range of friendships, boosting their social skills and adaptability in a caring, inclusive environment.
Opening hours
The centre is open Monday to Friday, 9am to 4pm.
Enrol your child
Care is available weekdays throughout the year, excluding public holidays and closed during the summer school holidays. Bookings are renewed annually or by calling us to check availability.

About the service
Formally known as Maroondah Occasional Care, Maroondah Education and Care is Council’s Early Years Learning Service and a funded long day care centre.
Our highly qualified staff offer a program based on the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards to ensure it's stimulating, developmentally appropriate and designed to respond to every child’s individual interests and needs. We highlight the value of community connections, nature play and the importance of creating a sustainable environment.
Families provide food (and nappies) for their child which enables choice and allows us to offer affordable care.
