This time of year is great to explore our parks and reserves. And what better way to do that than using our extensive network of walking and cycling paths.

Whether you enjoy walking, running or cycling the shared pathways are vital connections between reserves and major road networks.

Each year we program maintenance and upgrades to our pathways with one of the current projects underway being the reconstruction of the shared pathway along Dandenong Creek.

Works are now complete between Laura Reserve and Dorset Road meaning users of the pathway can now enjoy a wide three metre pathway in sections, and there were also minor alterations to the alignment to preserve the surrounding vegetation.

Early in 2020 the next stage of the project will begin, with works to reconstruct and widen the shared path from Laura Reserve to Colchester Road.

These works are expected to be completed mid-2020.
