Proposed road discontinuance - abutting 435-445 Mount Dandenong Road

Maroondah City Council gives notice under clause 3 of Schedule 10 of the Local Government Act 1989 that it intends to discontinue the road abutting 435-445 Mount Dandenong Road, Kilsyth, being that part of the land contained in certificate of title volume 11433 folio 824 shown hatched and cross-hatched on the plan below and sell the former road to the adjoining owner for a price no less than the market valuation held by Council.

Any person may make a submission on the proposal.

Any person wishing to make a submission must do so in writing by 18 March 2020. All submissions will be considered in accordance with section 223 of the Act.

Submissions should be addressed to the Chief Executive Officer, and can be hand delivered to Council's Municipal Office at Braeside Avenue, Ringwood 3134, or posted to the following address:

Any person requesting to be heard in support of his or her submission is entitled to be heard before Council (or a Committee established by Council for this purpose) or be represented by a person acting on his or her behalf and will be notified of the time and date of the hearing. 

After considering all submissions, Council will decide whether or not to proceed with the proposal.
