Join us as we celebrate the rich and diverse cultures of the Myanmar and Burmese communities, showcasing the unique strengths and identities of young people at Eastland Town Square.
During the event, Lukas Kasper's mural design will come to life, with a unique opportunity for attendees to paint the mural together. Community members, including young people from the Myanmar and Burmese communities, will be guided by the artist himself and have the opportunity to add their personal touch to this vibrant piece of public art. This collaborative process celebrates creativity and unity and will be a testament to the power of community.
The mural launch will also provide the opportunity to enjoy live performances from artists such as SA1KO, explore community stalls and engage in fun activities.
This event is run in collaboration with Migrant Information Centre, Eastland and Youth Advocacy and Support Service.

When arriving to Eastland, enter from Ringwood Street at West Gate 5. Immediately veer left up the single lane ramp an then left again up the dual lane ramp. This will bring you to the designated undercover Town Square carpark (Level 3M, Entry Z). Townsquare is directly opposite Ringwood Station and the bus interchange, with direct links to both the Belgrave and Lilydale train lines.
