Early Learning Centres

Council does not operate any Early Learning Centres. However, there are many community-based, private and corporate Early Learning Centres in Maroondah, that provide child care and developmental programs for young children from infancy to 6 years.

Most Early Learning Centres operate 5 days per week and provide care for families who are working, studying or living in the area. They are regulated as per the requirements of the Victorian Early Childhood Regulatory Authority (VECRA). For more information visit Victorian Government website.

Choosing a service

The Starting Blocks website provides information about early child education and care services, including their National Quality Standard rating. Parents wishing to enrol should contact centres directly.

When considering childcare, it is important to visit services before you enrol to ensure that the centre suits your family's needs and complements your family values.

Remember to check if the centre is registered for Child Care Subsidy and your eligibility for this assistance with fees.
