Our experienced, native language speaking tutors know it’s hard to learn a second language as an adult.

The Centre is the perfect environment to build confidence in a supportive and encouraging environment.

Tutors will cover the basics, employing the communicative approach in their classes and able to clarify meaning and correct errors in a student-centred way, whilst making the lessons engaging and fun. Learn key phrases to help you safely find your way around a foreign place so you can travel with confidence.

Our tutors are passionate about sharing their culture and their classes are a great way to celebrate and connect with our richly diverse community here at CRCC.

You will learn phonetics, some vocabulary, grammar, characters and daily conversation in the Mandarin language. Topics will include general greetings, self-introduction, numbers, dates and time, food and drinks etc. We will also talk about Chinese culture and customs to help you gain an insight into ancient and present-day China.

This class runs during school terms only.
