Dandenong Creek Trail

The Dandenong Creek Trail is a 44km shared path for cyclists and pedestrians that runs alongside Dandenong Creek from Chandlers Lane in Kilsyth South to Carrum Beach. The trail travels through Maroondah for 8km, from Chandlers Lane To Wantirna Road in Heathmont and has interpretive signs, seating and shelter along the trail.

There are many points to access the Dandenong Creek Trail including from Chandlers Lane, Wantirna Road, Simpsons Court, Barrow Drive, Bungalow Road East, Bayswater Road, Connolly Cresent, Allambanan Drive and Toolimerin Avenue.

• Location: Kilsyth South to Heathmont
• Difficulty: Easy to Moderate
• Distance: 8km
• Incline: Unsuitable for wheelchairs on the gravel section between Marlborough Road and HE Parker Reserve on the northern side due to steep grades
