Reindeers singing Christmas carols

Maroondah Carols is a free event that welcomes our community to come together and celebrate the festive season. The Maroondah Carols have been a community highlight for over 25 years, celebrating our connectedness, our Maroondah community groups and local businesses.

Event details

  • Date: Saturday 6 December 2025
  • Time: 6pm to 10pm
  • Venue: Town Park, Croydon
  • Fireworks will take place at approximately 9.30pm 

  • Smoke, vape and dog free event. 

Activities

There’s something for everyone at Maroondah Carols!

Enjoy dazzling pre-show entertainment and delicious food from the available food trucks. There will be a free kids’ activity zone with rides and plenty of other games and fun.

The main concert will start at 7.30pm with a fantastic line up of performances and your favourite festive songs to sing along to. Rounding out the night, don’t miss the fireworks display lighting up the sky at the end of the event.

Performers

Get excited for a magical night with MC Lucy Holmes, the Maroondah Carols Band and a talented line up of performers, including:

  • Samantha Du Rennes (U’Ren)
  • Jonathan Guthrie-Jones
  • Lauren Neivandt
  • Julian Dunham 

And of course, a visit from Elf, Frosty and Santa!

Parking

Parking around the event site is limited. Where possible walk, ride or take public transport.

 

Limited parking is available around the event site and at Swinburne University on Norton Road. Please observe parking restrictions and be considerate when parking in residential areas.

 

Accessible parking is available off Norton Road or Civic Square.

Accessibility

  • Accessible parking is located along Norton Road or in Civic Square with close access to the event site.
  • There are permanent sealed paths throughout the event site for easy access.
  • Council’s Marveloo will be located on site.
  • A chill out space is available to provide a quiet space to break away from the event.
  • There will be accessible viewing areas either side of the stage.
  • Auslan interpreters will be on stage during the main show and shown on the big screen.
