Notice of intention to sell land - 1A Clegg Grove Ringwood

Maroondah City Council (Council) gives notice under section 114 of the Local Government Act 2020 (Act) of its intention to sell the land abutting the property known as 1A Clegg Grove Ringwood (Land), being the whole of the land contained in certificate of title volume 11597 folio 132, shown marked as Lot 3 on the plan below (Plan).

The proposal is that Council sell the Land shown marked as ‘Lot 3’ on the Plan as a separate parcel (Parcel) to the owner of 1 Clegg Grove Ringwood, for a purchase price no less than the market value of the Parcel held by Council and on terms acceptable to Council. 

Any person wishing to make a submission on Council’s proposal to sell the Land, must do so in writing by 24 October 2022. All submissions will be considered in accordance with Council’s Community Engagement Policy. 

Submissions should be addressed to the Chief Executive Officer, Maroondah City Council and sent: 

  • By email to maroondah@maroondah.vic.gov.au  with the email subject line of “Submission -Proposed sale of land abutting 1 Clegg Grove Ringwood”
  • By post to PO Box 156, Ringwood VIC 3134

After considering all submissions, Council will decide whether or not to proceed with the proposal.
