New vacancies are now available for children over 3 years of age.
Formally known as Maroondah Occasional Care, Maroondah Education and Care is Council’s Early Years Learning Service and a funded long day care centre.
The service provides a flexible and high quality range of child care options for children from 6 weeks of age (following their first immunisation) up to 6 years old. The mixed-age child care setting helps young children learn new skills from older peers, while older children build confidence and leadership. Children enjoy a range of friendships, boosting their social skills and adaptability in a caring, inclusive environment.
Our highly qualified staff offer a program based on the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards to ensure that it is stimulating, developmentally appropriate and designed to respond to your child’s individual interests and needs. We also highlight the value of community connections, nature play and the importance of creating a sustainable environment.
Families provide food (and nappies) for their child which enables choice and allows us to offer affordable care.
