Candlebark is a not-for-profit, community-managed, local native plant nursery. We grow indigenous plants specifically from and for Melbourne's outer east, including Maroondah, Manningham and Yarra Ranges council areas.
Our goal is to help conserve and enhance our existing local native plants to provide habitat for native wildlife and improve biodiversity in the area in which we live, work and play.
We grow and sell low-cost local native plants to the public at our community nursery at 308 Hull Road, Mooroolbark 3138.
We operate as an incorporated association and registered charity under a voluntary management committee. We welcome new association members, volunteers and corporate/local business sponsors.
we are open to the public for sales and volunteer activities between 9amand 4:30pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays.
