National Road Safety Week
Held from 17 to 24 May, National Road Safety Week aims to help raise awareness about the impact of road trauma and ways to reduce it.
Council is supporting National Road Safety Week by offering a range of free activities, a school participation competition and information for Maroondah schools and residents.
There are daily themes focusing on ways you can help make the roads safer, such as refreshing your road rules knowledge and being kind while on the roads.
You can also make a pledge to drive safely every day, by taking extra caution, driving defensively and avoiding risks so our roads are safer for everyone.
