A welcoming space for people living with dementia and their family carers, Olive Branch Cafe offers a relaxed environment to connect, enjoy morning tea, participate in activities, and find support from others on a similar journey.
Held fortnightly during school terms, these sessions are led by an experienced Dementia Care and Lifestyle Professional with support from volunteers. The focus is on creating a safe, social, and supportive community, with small groups of up to 10 couples encouraged to attend regularly.
The Olive Branch Cafe is a new initiative from the Olivet Care Day Respite Centre. The cafe is designed for people living at home with dementia and their family carers. Olivet Care is a non profit organisation with a long history of providing Aged Care services in the Ringwood area.
