The aim of the Country Women's Association of Victoria Inc. is to improve conditions for women and children throughout Victoria, Australia and the world through community service. Branches of the Association are spread throughout Victoria in both rural and metropolitan areas.
Ringwood Branch was formed in 1946 in the Ringwood Town Hall and currently meets on the third Wednesday of each month at Maroondah Federation Estate, Greenwood Avenue, Ringwood from 1.00pm - 3.00pm. An entry fee is charged to cover the cost of rent.
We hold a short business meeting before our knowledge of various organisations is increased by inviting their representatives to be guest speaker. The meeting is finished with a cuppa and social interaction.
We raise funds to continue the work of the Country Women's Association of Victoria Inc. in supporting families throughout Victoria.
We also meet socially throughout the year by going out to lunch at various venues within the City of Maroondah and beyond.
