The Ringwood Prostate Cancer Support Group provides information, education and support for those affected by prostate cancer (partners welcome). Meetings are held at Maroondah Federation Estate, at 7pm on the fourth Tuesday of the month.
At the group's meetings, we show respect to members and speakers; we invite people to speak and we listen; we respect confidentiality; and allow new ideas to be shared. Speakers are invited to bring us helpful advice and up to date information on associated health matters, including latest research and treatment.
Our members follow individual paths in considering the many currently available treatment options with the assistance of their chosen health professionals; sometimes sharing with members who have followed a similar path can often be informative and helpful.
