What listings can be included in the Community Directory?

What listings can be included?

The Maroondah Community Directory includes not-for-profit groups and organisations that:

  • are within the boundaries of the City of Maroondah. Organisations outside the boundaries may be included in the Community Directory only if their offering is not currently catered for within the City of Maroondah
  • Government and Council-funded services including childcare centres and some sporting organisations
  • have no political affiliation.

What listings won’t be included:

Private and commercial businesses will not be included in our Community Directory.

In line with Maroondah’s Gambling Harm Prevention and Minimisation Policy 2026:

  • Clubs, organisations and venues that operate EGMs will not be included in our Community Directory
  • Programs, activities and events held in venues with EGMs will not be included in our Community Directory
