Local community centres provide a focal point for community involvement. They offer opportunities to learn, share, grow, meet others and have fun.
There's a broad range of programs, courses and activities available at these centres. They are generally designed to be affordable, and to bring people together in a friendly, supportive environment.

- emergency relief.

Learning local in Maroondah
Five Maroondah community houses have collaborated on a simple, locally-driven website that promotes a variety of activities at minimal cost to the community. The website is a one stop shop for adult learning, skills to employment development and social connection opportunities in Maroondah.
Learn Locals are a part of a network of over 250 not-for-profit organisations across Victoria offering adult community education and training to people from all walks of life. Learn Locals draw upon the skills and knowledge of local trainers with industry experience who are committed to helping learners build new, real-world skills and improve their lives.
