Victorian Seniors Festival

Join us as we acknowledge the contribution made by older people to our community, celebrating their achievements and promoting positive ageing and wellbeing.

Take part in events and activities close to home and right across the state, including a Festival Celebration Day at Melbourne’s Federation Square. The Victorian Seniors Festival encourages everyone to get involved, share joy and have fun.

This year’s theme – Connect, Create, Celebrate – invites older Victorians to come together, discover new interests and celebrate.

Seniors Transport Guide

Pick up a copy of Council’s Seniors Transport Guide for information on travel discounts for older people, using a Myki card, transport options and other helpful travel tips. Print copies of the booklet are available at Council’s customer service centres.

Eight days of free public transport 

Victorian Seniors Card holders can explore Victoria with free public transport from Sunday 5 October to Sunday 12 October.

Visit Seniors Online to learn more and find thousands of free and low-cost events all over Victoria.
