A permit is required to conduct fundraising activities in Maroondah City Council.
Fundraising activities include:
- general fundraising
- raffles
- sale of organisation goods
- doorknocks
- highway collections/tin shakes.
Apply for a permit
Please submit your application to Council 3 months before the date of your fundraising activity.
1. Complete your application.

2. Prepare required documentation:
Public Liability (Certificate of Currency)
- noting Maroondah City Council as interested party, and
- see form for level of coverage required.
3. Submit your application, all required documentation and applicable fee:

4. If approved, you will receive your permit by mail within 10 business days of your application being received.

A fee exemption will only be given to community groups who are either:
- are based in Maroondah and collecting for their own purposes
- registered under the provision of the Fundraising Act 1998.
