The placement of temporary real estate agent signs, A-boards, requires a permit.
A maximum of two signs per property may be placed on the nature strip at, or near a property for which the agent is acting.
No sign may be placed on a:
- footpath
- road
- roundabout
- traffic island
- other location where it creates a hazard to pedestrian or vehicle safety.

2. Prepare required documentation:
Public Liability (Certificate of Currency)
- noting Maroondah City Council as interested party, and
- see form for level of coverage required.
3. Submit your application, all required documentation and applicable fee:

4. If approved, you will receive your permit by mail within 10 business days of your application being received.
Real estate signage permits expire on 30 September each year.
