About the project

Works along Evelyn Road, at the intersection with Felix Crescent in Ringwood North are anticipated to commence in October 2026.

The works are a continuation to Council’s previous infrastructure improvement works which occurred within Evelyn Road near Loughnan Road in early 2024.

The works will include:

Continuation of the footpath construction on the west side of the road between Loughnan Road and Felix Crescent.
Construction of two pedestrian refuges to support safe pedestrian crossing and encourage lower speeds on approach to the Felix Crescent intersection.
Construction of a raised pavement outside no. 2 Felix Crescent and concrete speed cushions outside 3 Park Road to reduce and control vehicle speeds.
Modifications to the Felix Crescent and Evelyn Road intersection to support a pedestrian crossing and improve bus turning movements.
Reconstruction and realignment of the existing footpath outside no. 2 Park Road. The footpath will be raised to reduce overflowing of stormwater from the road.
Road resurfacing and pavement rehabilitation between Felix Crescent and Loughnan Road.
Associated vehicle crossing and kerb reconstruction to support the above works.
Associated road linemarking and signage.
