In line with Council’s commitment to constructing the Principal Pedestrian Network, works are complete on the construction of new footpaths on Kubba Road in Ringwood North.

The works included:

Construction of a new concrete footpath on the on the southern side of Kubba Road between 1 Kubba Road and Glenvale Road
Construction of a new concrete footpath on the on the northern side of Kubba Road between Glenvale Road and Felix Crescent
Construction of associated kerb ramp crossings at the Nicholas Court intersection
Removal of one (1) tree and five (5) conifer bushes at the front of no. 3, 5 and 7 Kubba Road.

Tree Removal

The trees referenced above were identified by Council’s Arborists for removal due to the trees’ existing conflicting alignment with the proposed footpath or the significant root systems that exist on the surface of the nature strip that needed to be removed to construct the footpath.
