Tea drinking is an artform in many Islamic countries. Turkey has the highest consumption of tea, with Morocco being the second.
In Morocco, tea time is based on rituals and principles, from preparation to serving, passed down through generations. Of the top 30 consumer countries, 15 are in the Middle East and North Africa, which now accounts for a quarter of global tea drinking.
This activity commences with a presentation about tea and its history, followed by a preparation demonstration, and tasting.
