Kutcha and Friends

In 2018, Kutcha Edwards led song-writing workshops with Mullum Mullum Indigenous Gathering Place (MMIGP) community, Yeng Gali Mullum and Ringwood Secondary College to write new songs for performances during Reconciliation Week and in The Backyard at Ringwood Town Square.

The project grew out of Kutcha’s involvement in MMIGP and Maroondah City Council’s celebrations for Reconciliation Week over many years and is one of a series of Ringwood arts precinct projects involving leading artists working with the local community.
