Library excursion

Every fortnight, you will have the opportunity to visit Croydon Library and enjoy the large collection of books, prints, biographies, newspapers, magazines, DVD’s & CD’s which are brought to the group in the Glen Frost Room where you can have a chat and some morning tea while choosing what you wish to take home.

You can also use any of the general library facilities during your visit.

Excursion details

• Where: Glen Frost Room, Croydon Library
• When: trip runs every fortnight (please note: these excursions will not occur during school holidays)
• Cost: $5.91 per trip

Important information

• You must be able to enter and exit a bus without assistance as it does not cater for wheelchair access.
• No personal support is provided in these programs. Council’s Shopping and Library bus programs require participants to be fully independent except for the transport support provided.

Social inclusion and Wellbeing program

This class is part of Maroondah's Social Inclusion and Wellbeing program, which ensures that residents who are frail/aged, have a disability, or are socially isolated receive support to remain independent and continue to participate in the community.

These programs are aimed to help you to stay active, healthy and connected to others in the community
