We are weeding a site our group has worked on before. This site is at the bottom of the access path on Jeffery Drive, adjacent to 50 Jeffery Drive. Enter the access path and walk down to the track. Volunteer signs will help you to find the site. Weeding in this area is an ongoing task but every effort helps and allows the native grasses and shrubs to become dominant.
What to bring: Gardening gloves, Knee pads (optional); Sunscreen and insect repellent; Water. If you are bringing along younger helpers, bring any tools they may like to use and gloves as we only have tools and gloves suitable for teens and adults. Something to share at morning tea is always welcome but entirely optional.
