Planting in Warranwood Reserve

Join the Warranwood Landcare Group for a community planting morning at Warranwood Reserve. With support from Council’s bush crew, volunteers will help plant indigenous seedlings along the creek that flows into Jumping Creek and the Yarra River.

Everyone is welcome. You can join for the whole session or just drop in for the time you have available. Children under 18 are welcome but must be supervised by an adult who is responsible for them at all times.

  • Date: Wednesday 1 July 2026
  • Time: 10am to 12.30pm
  • Location: Warranwood Reserve (near the main creek)
  • Tea, cordial and biscuits will be provided.

What to wear

  • Sturdy enclosed shoes or boots
  • Long sleeves and long trousers are recommended
  • A coat if the weather is cold or wet

Tools and gloves will be provided.

Getting here

By car:

  • Park at Kurboroo Kindergarten car park and follow the path to the creek, or
  • Enter via Eden Valley Road (end of Braden Brae Drive) and follow the creek path, or
  • Access is also available from Kelly Court

By public transport:

  • Take bus 380 (Ringwood to Croydon)
  • Get off at Berrywood Walk and Bemboka Road, Warranwood
  • Walk north along Bemboka Road to Kelly Court, then follow the path into the reserve
