Communications Strategy

Maroondah City Council’s Communications Strategy will help provide strategic guidance and direction for Council’s communication with the Maroondah community.

Key focus and deliverables for the Maroondah Communications Strategy 2025-2029 include providing communications that are:

  • accessible and inclusive, focusing on language, translations, Easy English and social scripts
  • engaging and effective, using a variety of channels suited to Maroondah’s diverse community
  • timely and trusted, providing accurate information and updates as a reliable voice in the community for Council and local news, including emergency information
  • relevant and responsive to the community’s needs and interests, to enable residents to live supported, active and connected lives within our community.
