Move Safely to School Week

Primary and secondary schools are invited to join our Move safely to school week program as part of National Road Safety Week, running from 18 to 22 May.

The campaign gives schools the opportunity to increase physical activity and promote safe and sustainable movement to school as an integral part of daily routines.

Registered schools will receive materials to share with students, families and employees, encouraging them to walk, scoot, or ride to school. The FREE promotions pack will include:

A3 and A4 promotional posters
classroom calendars
a digital promotional kit, including social media tiles, website banner images and school newsletter inserts.

Register

Schools can register for the program directly with Council.

Schools who register for the initiative and complete evaluation surveys will go in the draw to receive a $500 discount for your next school athletics carnival or swim carnival at Aquanation, Aquahub, Croydon Memorial Pool, or local athletics facilities.

Please note: Inclusion in the prize draw is also subject to returning the completed classroom calendars and event evaluation form.
