Works are now complete on Stage 1 of the Bedford Road Shopping Centre Streetscape Improvement Works, focusing on the eastern end of the shopping centre, between no.99 and 117 Bedford Road.

About the project

The works include:

  • widened footpath along the frontage of this section of the shopping centre
  • installation of new garden beds, hoop edging, trees and shrubs
  • installation of additional seating and bike racks
  • upgrade of disabled parking spaces
  • new carpark line marking.

Timing for Stage 2 of the project is yet to be confirmed and more information will be provided as the project progresses.
