Fyfe Avenue footpath works

As part of Council’s commitment to improve footpaths within Maroondah, funding has been made available in the 2025/26 financial year for the construction of footpath in Fyfe Avenue, Ringwood.

Works will include:

Construction of a new concrete footpath on the south-western side of Fyfe Avenue connecting into Berea Court
Construction of a new pedestrian crossing point on the corner of Fyfe Avenue and Mullum Mullum Road
Tree removal at 10 Fyfe Avenue to allow for compliant space for footpath and overhead powerline clearance
Reconstruction of 2 vehicle crossings along the extent of works

Upon the completion of the footpath works, Council’s Tree Management team will assess the area for new street tree planting opportunities where appropriate.

Subject to contractor availability works will commence in late November 2025.
