Parkwood Dog Park is a large fenced dog park located at Parkwood in North Ringwood.

It is located behind the community buildings at Parkwood.

The dog park includes:

  • a fully fenced area with double gated entrances
  • a digging pit area
  • tree and landscaping areas
  • dog education/training items
  • dry creek bed for sensory play
  • perimeter walking/jogging track
  • water/drinking area
  • rock clamber mound for sensory play
  • natural elements such as logs, mulch and sand

Rules to remember

Rules to remember when choosing to visit a dog park:

  • Ensure your dog is under constant supervision and voice control.
  • Ensure your dog is vaccinated and over 6 months old.
  • Bring no more than two dogs.
  • Only bring hidden dog treats – no other food is allowed.
  • Dog toys are not permitted in dog park.
  • Don’t bring young children into the park.
  • Once outside the dog park, you must have your dog on a leash.

Please ensure your dog is on a leash when outside the dog park, as the area surrounding the dog park is an on leash area and Parkwood is home to various community groups.
