About - Percy Shozi
Percy Shozi was named Percival by his Aunty, who believed he’d be a person who perseveres through all things (and he is). He also has a Zulu name, Mqondisi.
Percy grew up in South Africa’s Valley of 1,000 Hills near Durban. His upbringing inspired his passion for helping people find hope through music and books. Percy now lives in Melbourne with his wife and two daughters and is also an author. He created the Zola book series after noticing his daughters rarely saw themselves in bedtime stories.
