Maroondah Federation Estate is a community, cultural and arts facility for the residents of Maroondah and the outer eastern region of Melbourne.

Enjoy the all abilities playspace, admire striking tree carvings and discover interesting insights into the Estate’s unique architecture and history which includes the State Heritage-listed 1920s former Ringwood School House.

Lifestyle Centre

The Lifestyle Centre at Federation Estate contains light, bright and modern function rooms, meeting and performance spaces, catering for all abilities. Surrounded by views of tranquil native gardens, groups hold meetings, seminars, workshops, exercises classes and music performances in air-conditioned comfort. There is ample on-site parking and a kitchenette as well as fresh and diverse catering options for breakfast, morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea. Rooms and the spacious, central courtyard are available for casual or regular hire.

Located in the purpose-built addition, the centre contains function rooms and a kitchenette, which cater for visitors of all abilities.

It is a vital recreational, social and community resource and is an excellent venue for a variety of performance groups, leisure, recreation and social clubs.

Cultural Centre

The Cultural Centre houses an artist’s workshop, and exhibition and studio spaces, leased to community groups.

AMazing Space includes exciting and innovative equipment and designs, themed around the four elements of fire, wind, water and earth, and aims to enhance the senses of touch, vision, sound and smell. Features include a wheelchair-accessible sand pit and attractive gardens as well as accessible seating, car parks and toilet.
