Community Grants Funding Program

The Community Grants Funding Program offers three annual grants schemes to incorporated, not-for-profit community groups on an annual basis. Applications are submitted online. The 2017/18 Community Grants Funding Program will open online on 9am, Tuesday 28 March and close Tuesday 9 May.

If you received a grant last year the acquittals for the 2016/2017 Community Grants are due Friday 28 April. Acquittal forms are accessed through the applicants account on the SmartyGrants website. Log into ‘My Submissions’ where you can view your submission and acquittal forms. Page 10 of the Help Guide for Applicants will also assist you in submitting the additional acquittal form.

The Community Development Grants Scheme

This scheme offers assistance to incorporated, not for profit groups to develop programs, projects and events that enhance community wellbeing and increase participation.

The Small Equipment Grants Scheme

This scheme is for requests of $500.00 or less to cover small equipment purchases, printing or administration costs to incorporated not for profit community support groups only.

The Arts and Cultural Grants Scheme

This scheme supports a diverse and culturally rich Maroondah through community driven projects, initiatives and events which increase the profile and participation in the arts. These initiatives may focus on a wide range of art forms.
