Wombolano Reserve makeover Published on 12 August 2026 Thanks to the dedication of the Friends of Wombolano and Council’s Bushland Management team, an area of Wombolano Reserve that had struggled to recover, has been given a new lease on life. What was once a weed-infested patch degraded by dumped lawn clippings, is now flourishing with native vegetation, providing valuable habitat and demonstrating the power of community-led conservation.
