Cyber Wardens Foundations is an interactive workshop designed for small business owners and employees who want a practical, hands‑on introduction to cyber security.

Delivered live by a Cyber Wardens educator, the session focuses on real‑world learning through discussion, examples and shared experiences, making it ideal for those who prefer an engaging, interactive approach.

Small businesses are increasingly targeted by cyber threats. This workshop will help you identify the seven most common cyber security red flags that can put your business at risk. You will learn how to spot warning signs early, understand everyday habits that increase vulnerability, and take simple, effective steps to improve your cyber safety.

During the session, you will gain practical insights into:

  • The biggest cyber security risks facing small businesses.
  • Common warning signs that your business may be at risk.
  • Everyday behaviours that can make businesses more vulnerable to cyber crime.

Whether you are new to cyber security or looking for a refresher, Cyber Wardens Foundations provides essential knowledge to help you better protect your business.

About the presenter

Carolynne is a Cyber Wardens educator who is passionate about helping small business owners and employees build confidence, strengthen their cyber resilience and stay safe online. She is an experienced digital project and program manager who has led the delivery of transformative digital products and services for the Victorian Government – Business Victoria and the Department of Premier & Cabinet. She has collaborated with clients, and led research, design, content and development teams to create high quality customer experiences.
