Living Our Best Life is a program focused on strengthening community connections for people aged 60 and over. It plays a vital role in supporting health, well‑being, and a strong sense of belonging across our community.
Research shows that strong social connections contribute to longer life, better health, and improved well‑being. People who feel connected to others often experience lower levels of stress, greater confidence, increased empathy, and more trusting and cooperative relationships.
Talking cafes are weekly drop-in sessions organised by the team and held in local cafes where participants can come together to socialise, learn about what’s happening in their community, and to make first contact with the project
Our trained volunteer Community Connectors can help you discover what is available for you and connect you with the right activity or service in your area.
