The Ringwood & District Historical Society exists to preserve and disseminate the heritage and historical background of Ringwood and its surrounds. This is achieved through research, maintenance of historical records and artefacts and education of the broader community through its publications and speaker programs.

The Ringwood & District Historical Society meet from February to November, on the fourth Wednesday of the month at 7.30pm. Meetings are held at North Ringwood Community Centre, 35 Tortice Drive, North Ringwood.

Archives open Tuesdays and Saturdays, 10am to noon, or by appointment.
