Community gardens

Community Gardens provide us with an opportunity to enjoy gardening, while bringing people from all backgrounds and ages together to promote a connected community.

They can operate in many ways, with some modelled on communal gardening and others as individual plot-based gardens.

Bedford Park Community Garden

Croydon Community Garden

5 Trawalla Rd, Croydon 3136

Allotments are leased out to the residents of the Maroondah City Council seeking to grow cereals, flowers, fruit, herbs and vegetables, as well as sharing ideas in a friendly atmosphere.

Glen Park Oaks Community Garden

Ringwood Community Garden

The Community Garden offers local residents the opportunity to share ideas in a friendly atmosphere and to enjoy growing organic fruit, vegetables, flowers and herbs.
