These fees apply to assessing and approving engineering and construction management plans for development works.

Engineering plans

Engineering plan checking fees are based on the size of the development.

Unit apartment
Up to 10 units - checking fee $442
11 to 40 units - checking fee $1,055
41 or more units - checking fee $1,760
Commercial development
Small (under 500m2) - checking fee $442
Medium (500 to 2000m2) - checking fee $1,055
Large (more than 2000m2) - checking fee $1,760
Industrial / factory / warehouse development
Single development - checking fee $442
2 to 5 developments - checking fee $1,055
6 or more developments - checking fee $1,760

Works creating new Council assets

These fees apply for works where new infrastructure such as roads, drainage, footpaths or water sensitive urban design are constructed and will become Council assets.

Fees are calculated in accordance with the Subdivision Act and are based on the cost of the construction work.
