Waste services fees and charges

Residential waste services

These fees apply to households that receive residential waste services.

  • Residential waste services are renewed annually.
  • Reduced rate applies to households with an 80 litre general waste bin.
  • Charges are applied pro rata if service is changed during the financial year.

Additional bins

  • Additional bins are renewed annually.
  • Conditions apply and eligibility must be confirmed with Council.

Additional 120 litre general waste bin $296 annually
Additional 240 litre food and gardening organics bin $230 annually
Additional 240 litre recycling bin $0 *

*From 1 July 2026, an additional recycling bin will incur a fee of approximately $60 per annum.

Commercial waste services

These fees apply to commercially rated businesses.

  • Commercial waste services are renewed annually
  • Limit of one additional recycling bin per property
  • Conditions apply and eligibility must be confirmed with Council.

1x 240 litre general waste bin, collected once per week $830 annually
1 x 240 litre general waste bin, collected three times a week $1822 annually
1 x 240 litre recycling bin, collected fortnightly* $185 annually

Industrial waste services

These fees apply to industrial businesses such as factories, workshops and warehouses.

  • Industrial waste services are renewed annually.
  • Conditions apply and eligibility must be confirmed with Council.
