Residential waste services

These fees apply to households that receive residential waste services.

  • Charges are applied pro rata if service is changed during the financial year.
  • Conditions apply for additional bins and eligibility must be confirmed with Council.
  • The waste levy is a Victorian Government tax on waste sent to landfill that aims to encourage recycling and waste reduction, while helping fund circular economy initiatives.

$514 annually

Includes $436.70 service charge and $77.30 waste levy.
Residential waste - reduced service (80 litre general waste bin, 240 litre recycling bin and 240 litre FOGO bin)

$424 annually

Includes $372.40 service charge and $51.60 waste levy.
Residential waste - additional full set of 3 bins

$547 annually

Includes $469.70 service charge and $77.30 waste levy.
Residential waste - additional general waste bin (120 litre)

$328 annually

Includes $250.70 service charge and $77.30 waste levy.
Residential waste - additional food and garden organics bin (240 litre) $230 annually
Residential waste - additional recycling bin (240 litre) $60 annually

Commercial waste services

These fees apply to commercially rated businesses.

  • Limit of one additional recycling bin per property
  • Conditions apply and eligibility must be confirmed with Council.
  • The waste levy is a Victorian Government tax on waste sent to landfill that aims to encourage recycling and waste reduction, while helping fund circular economy initiatives.

Industrial waste services

These fees apply to industrial businesses such as factories, workshops and warehouses.

  • Conditions apply and eligibility must be confirmed with Council.
  • The waste levy is a Victorian Government tax on waste sent to landfill that aims to encourage recycling and waste reduction, while helping fund circular economy initiatives.
