Council are aware of concerns associated with parking along Cosmo Court, Kilsyth and the operation of the road.
Council Engineers have found that Cosmo Court is not wide enough to allow for parking on one side of the road and for one lane of through traffic.
Residents are parking their vehicles on the nature strip, which is not permitted under the Road Safety Road Rules 2017 (the Road Rules).
Council is seeking feedback from residents of Cosmo Court on a proposal to consider how parking can be improved on the street.
Council Engineers are considering a trial approach to allow residents to create designated overflow parking areas. Existing vegetation would be protected.
