Signs and line marking

Council is responsible for signs and line marking on Council roads across Maroondah. You can apply for a new directional sign, report a damaged or missing road sign and let us know if existing roads lines need repainting.

Applying for a new sign

An officer will inspect the site before making a decision.

Damaged or missing road signs

Please report damaged or missing road signs by:

If the damaged sign is beyond repair, we will replace the sign as quickly as possible. 

Common signs such as Stop, Give Way and Parking are kept in storage at the Council Operations Centre, however, road and street name signs are ordered when needed. The order and delivery process can take up to 6 to 8 weeks.

Line marking - new or existing

Contractors are responsible for line marking new and existing roads and streets across Maroondah. If existing roads lines have faded or need repainting contact us on 1300 88 22 33 or email maroondah@maroondah.vic.gov.au.
