Ben Kurek, arachnologist, will help you discover and learn about some of the spiders living in Maroondah.
This is one of six nature discovery activities being held in Maroondah designed to encourage participation in the 2025 Great Southern Bioblitz from Friday 24th October to Monday 27 October.
Discover some of the wild plants, animals and fungi that are found in and around Maroondah.
This event is subject to weather forecast. Heavy rain, strong winds or thunderstorms may result in the event being cancelled.

- Registrations are essential and places are limited. Please complete one registration form for each participant.

What to wear
Please dress for the expected weather and wear closed footwear that is safe for uneven ground. Please note you may be walking on uneven ground and encounter stinging or biting insects or tripping hazards such as fallen branches and potholes. Please stick to the trails.

- magnifying glass and/or clip on macro lens (optional)
