Glen Park


The Glen Park Community Play Space can be enjoyed by the entire family, with a wide range of innovative play equipment, designed to cater for all ages and physical abilities.

There is a special toddlers area close to the shade shelter with:

  • slides
  • swings
  • animals
  • bongo drums
  • spinning disc.

For older children there is a wide range of rope climbing challenges including:

  • 6m high pyramid net
  • ropes course
  • spinning poles
  • basket swing.

A special feature of the Glen Park Community Play Space is the learners bike track with different surface textures for bike, trike and scooter riders.

Next to the Play Space are free tennis and basketball courts - BYO equipment.  The playground is connected to the Dandenong Creek Trail for easy walking and cycling access.

Whilst the park is an off-leash area, dogs must be kept on-leash while:

  • on the Dandenong Creek walking trail
  • within the basketball and tennis courts

Glen Park also has a community centre with cafe (open Monday to Friday), public accessible toilets, car parking, walking paths, oval, BBQs and a community garden. For exercise enthusiasts, the oval boundary measures approximately 380m.

Glen Park Social Script

This social script helps people with autism, or others that may feel anxious in new places, learn more about the reserve before they visit. It is a short description of a situation, event or activity, which includes specific information about what to expect in that situation and why.

The Social Script is provided in a word format so you can download it and make any required changes. There are several optional pages you can add to your social script if you feel the information is helpful. A PDF is also provided for easy printing.
