Strength & Balance Foundations Program — Legacy Health and Fitness, Ringwood

Feeling less steady on your feet? Moving a little less than you used to? This program was built for you.

Legacy Health and Fitness in Ringwood has launched a new 8-week Strength and Balance Foundations Program specifically designed for adults 60+ who want to feel stronger, steadier, and more confident in their everyday life.

This is not a regular gym class. It's a small, supportive group program with fully qualified coaches and plenty of individual attention.

What the program includes:

  • Progressive strength training designed specifically for older adults

  • Balance and stability work to reduce your risk of falls

  • Bone health and density support

  • A private 1:1 session with your coach before you start so the program is tailored to you

  • Small group sessions so you're never left to figure it out on your own

Why it matters:

Falls are one of the leading causes of injury and hospitalisation for adults over 60. Regular strength and balance training is one of the most effective and evidence-based ways to reduce that risk, improve mobility, and maintain independence as you age.

Program details:

  • 8 weeks, two sessions per week

  • Monday and Wednesday at 10:45am

  • Located at 4 Station St, Ringwood (opposite Ringwood Station)

  • Open to all fitness levels. No experience required.

  • Investment: $549 upfront or $74 per week
