Aussie Maroondah Kids Kingdom
The Aussie Maroondah Kids Kingdom is always a Maroondah Festival favourite, and this year it’s bursting with fun, colour and adventure!
Families can enjoy a full program of stage performances that will keep little ones entertained, while nature play activities spark creativity and curiosity.
Children can transform with free face painting, be delighted by roving entertainers, and dive into a world of engaging activities designed just for them.
With so much to see and do, Kids Kingdom is the place where imagination runs wild and magical memories are made.

Eastland Fun and Fitness Area - Fred Geale Oval
The Eastland Fun and Fitness Area has a range of business and sporting clubs showcasing their exciting fitness related products, activities and products including; martial arts, volley ball, baseball and tennis to name a few.
Get involved in the Activity Passport which kicks off at the Maroondah City Council’s - Sport and Recreation site located on the Fred Geale Oval. Once you have completed the Activity Passport, be sure to stop by the Eastland site to collect your prize.
Lots of free come and try activities including circus skills workshops running all day, plus artisan market stalls, food stalls and free kids rides located here.

Summerset Community Area
The Summerset Community Area is a vibrant hub where local groups and organisations come together to showcase their services, programs, and activities. It’s the perfect place to explore what’s happening in our community and discover new ways to connect and get involved.
Within this space, the Summerset Rest & Reset Area provides a welcoming retreat for older adults — a chance to pause, enjoy a refreshing drink, and even indulge in a relaxing massage.
The Community Stage will be alive with performances from soloists, schools, choirs, and community groups, celebrating the diverse talents that make Maroondah such a special place.

Café Consult
Come along to the Café Consult marquee at the Maroondah Festival to have your say on the future of Maroondah, located opposite the Information Tent near the playground.
Building on the new Maroondah 2040 Community Vision, Council is seeking your ideas and suggestions on a range of projects and initiatives.
Council is seeking your views and ideas on: Maroondah 2050 Community Vision, Liveability, Wellbeing and Resilience Action Plan, Climate Change Plan, Creative Maroondah Strategy 2026-2029, and Croydon Community Wellbeing Precinct.
Free hot and cold drinks will be offered to everyone who participates in three or more activities within the marquee.

Quiet Room
Located in the Glenn Frost Room, next to Croydon Library. The Quiet Room offers a calm, welcoming space away from the buzz of the festival.
Designed for individuals and families who may feel overwhelmed by noise or crowds, this space provides a peaceful retreat where you can take a break, relax, and reset before heading back into the festivities. With comfortable seating, low lighting, and a soothing atmosphere, the Quiet Room ensures that everyone can enjoy the festival at their own pace. All visitors under the age of 18 must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult at all times whilst in the space.
The Quiet Room is not a social space or children’s play area.

Information and event assistance
Visit one of the three Information Tents located close to Aquahub, Keystone Hall and the Tarralla Creek Trail entrance for general event information or council related queries. Friendly event staff are also located across the event, they can be easily spotted in a fluro vest.
