Wombolano Reserve makeover

Thanks to the dedication of the Friends of Wombolano and Council’s Bushland Management team, an area of Wombolano Reserve that had struggled to recover, has been given a new lease on life. What was once a weed-infested patch degraded by dumped lawn clippings, is now flourishing with native vegetation, providing valuable habitat and demonstrating the power of community-led conservation.
